Multimedia Presentation
- Zone-type presentation supporting one background design, one multimedia (stored video/streaming video/image) area, two image slide show areas, one ticker area, and one clock/date area
- Provide 15 pre-designed skins and 4 stylish clocks for users to easily create attractive presentations. More skins and clocks can be downloaded from CAYINs partner website periodically
- Provide a handy tool, Skin Editor, with an intuitive drag-and-drop user interface. Users can define the size and location of each division, including video, image, ticker, and clock, and create skin files for 10 popular resolutions
- Support most popular video codec and image file formats, such as MPEG 1/2/4, AVI, WMV 7/8/9, WMA, MP3, RAW DV, JPG, GIF, etc.
- Support diversified resolutions for both standard and wide screens: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024, 1280x720(720p), 1280x768, 1600x900, 1360x768, 1366x768
Playback Management
- Support multiple sources for the playback of multimedia files, including internal hard disk, USB flash disk (video only), and real-time video/uni/multi/broadcast streamed from CMS or other supported streaming servers
- Support real-time video broadcast and central content scheduling when incorporating with CAYIN CMS server. Administrators can remotely assign suitable content to players located in different sites and schedule the playlist with other media sources.
- Support easy settings of ticker, which can deliver real-time messages of advertisements or information. Users can enter texts directly in the web-based user interface, or feed texts from a text file, URL, or RSS feed
- Support remote update of multimedia contents by FTP, Network Neighborhood, or by CAYIN CMS server with automatic centralized content update according to the pre-set schedule through the Internet.
System Management
- Provide a web-based user interface for easy remote control of the settings and playback options of each media player
- Provide Wizard Mode for easy, step-by-step configuration
- Able to cooperate with CMS server to update playlists, schedules, and content in groups.
- Provide log function which can record the status of system, network, media player, and playback for management and analysis purposes
- Support system recovery function. System firmware can be restored to the factory default if needed.
- Support NTP service, which synchronizes the time of media players over a network
- Support to adjust volume remotely
- Cooperate with CAYIN CMS server and CAYIN for advanced remote managerial functions
- Support wireless LAN 802.11b/g (optional)
